Information we collect
- Account information such as farmer name, mobile number, email, location and login/session details.
- Employee records entered by an authorised farmer or administrator, including name, mobile number, photo, age, gender, joining date, Aadhaar number and insurance number when provided.
- Operational records including purchase rounds, quantities, rates, payments, attendance, statements, distribution records and reports.
- App preferences, notification status, printer settings and basic service diagnostics needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, provide employee and purchase-management features, calculate statements and attendance, generate reports, deliver notifications, provide support, prevent misuse and maintain service reliability.
Permissions and connected devices
The Android app uses internet and network access to connect to Farmers Connect. Bluetooth permission is used only when a user chooses to connect a compatible thermal printer. The app does not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Sharing and service providers
Information is available only to authorised farmers, employees and administrators according to their access rights. We may use hosting, email and infrastructure providers solely to operate the service, subject to appropriate confidentiality and security controls. We may disclose information when required by law.
Security and retention
We use authenticated access, encrypted transport, access controls and operational safeguards. Information is retained while an account is active and as necessary for business, legal, accounting and security purposes. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and deletion requests
Users may ask their administrator to correct account or employee information. To request account or associated-data deletion, contact us using the address below. We may retain records where legally required or necessary to protect legitimate rights.
Children’s privacy
Farmers Connect is a business application and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly create accounts for children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date shown above will identify the latest version.
